Chivaviro rescues late point against Rockets
Kaizer Chiefs left it late to claim a share of the spoils against TS Galaxy after their Betway Premiership clash ended in a 1-1 draw at the Mbombela Stadium on Monday, December 16.
Samukele Kabini's 35th-minute goal appeared to hand the Rockets all three points, but Ranga Chivaviro stepped off the bench to score a last-gasp equaliser.
It's another stalemate between TS Galaxy and Kaizer Chiefs 🤝

Nasreddine Nabi's side climbed back into the top eight as they went above Sekhukhune United and Golden Arrows on goal difference up to seventh place, with Galaxy also overtaking Cape Town City into 10th position.
The Mpumalanga outfit were looking to keep the momentum going under Adnan Beganovic after registering their first home victory of the season against AmaZulu (1-0) on 7 December, while Amakhosi hoped to get back on the winning trail following a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Polokwane City most recently.
The hosts almost got off to a flying start in Mbombela when Dzenan Zajmovic fired inches wide of the target on three minutes, but Chiefs should have opened the scoring just before the half-hour mark, with poor finishing letting them down once more.
Mduduzi Shabalala played in Ashley Du Preez with a defence-splitting pass, only for the striker to hit the side-setting from 12 yards out with just the goalkeeper to beat.
Inacio Miguel also failed to test Ira Tape with a header that cleared the crossbar from Njabulo Blom's cross on 32 minutes and the visitors were made to pay three minutes later.
Sphiwe Mahlangu did well to send in a cross from the left byline and Kabini glanced his header into the bottom right corner of the net from a few yards out.
Galaxy went into the break one goal to the good and they survived a scare early in the second half as Shabalala's miscued cross brushed against the bar on 47 minutes.
The Soweto giants kept toiling away as Chivaviro and Mfundo Vilakazi both had shots blocked and their efforts were finally rewarded deep into stoppage time with an equaliser from the former Marumo Gallants striker.
