St George beat Fasil City 4-0 on Thursday to end their Ethiopia Premier League season on a high, while Sidama Coffee defeated Bahir Dar City 2-1.

Dawit Tefera scored a last-minute goal at the end of the first half to give St George a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Fasil fought back in the second half and looked like they would get something from the game or, at worse, lose by a lone goal.

However, a quick-fire brace by St George's talisman Amanuel Arbo in the 80th and 90+1 minutes took them to 3-0.

Tegenu Teshome added one more on 90+5 minutes to give them a resounding 4-0 win.

It was a great finish to an underwhelming season, but they will finish fifth with 48 points behind fourth-placed Bahir Dar who lost to Sidama City.

Fasil are sixth with 44 points but can be overhauled by Adama City (44 points) who could go to 47 or 45 points depending on whether they win or draw.

Bahir Dar failed to capitalise on Ethiopia Coffee's loss on Wednesday, meaning they will finish in fourth place.

Sidama City finish on 11th place with their win.

Star striker Yigezu Bogale scored in the 8th and 11th minutes to give his side a a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Bahir Dar City pulled one back through Fitsum Tilahun's 69th-minute penalty.

However, it wasn't enough to rescue the game as Sidama Coffee celebrated with their home fans.
