While Magesi clinched automatic promotion to the PSL, University of Pretoria, Baroka, JDR Stars, Maritzburg United and Casric Stars still have a chance of making the PSL Promotion play-offs.

Second-placed AmaTuks will take on Pretoria Callies at the TUT Stadium on Sunday, as a win for the University of Pretoria would all but cement their spot in a PSL promotion playoff spot heading into the final game of the season.

As the crunch tie of the weekend, third-placed Baroka will square off against fourth-placed JDR Stars at the Global Stadium on Sunday while their form sheets make for good readings during the closing stages of the 23/24 campaign.

Baroka won each of their last three games in the Motsepe Foundation Championship while JDR Stars are unbeaten in their last eight league fixtures.

Both sides head into their penultimate league assignment on 45 points apiece and could put themselves in a good position to finish in second or third in the league with a win this weekend.

Then, fifth-placed Maritzburg United will take on rock-bottom Platinum City Rovers at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium this weekend.

The Team of Choice trail Baroka by three points and head into their last two matches with a superior goal difference (11) to that of JDR Stars (4), Baroka (9) and AmaTuks (8).
