Toprak Razgatlioglu secured pole position for the 2023 Czech Republic WorldSBK round, with Danilo Petrucci in second place.

This was after the results were placed "under review due to yellow flags," leaving riders uncertain about their final standings.

After a thorough review, the revised front row was announced, consisting of Razgatlioglu, Petrucci, and Michael Rinaldi, who rides for the factory Ducati team.

Unfortunately, a few riders, including Bassani, had their fastest lap times removed due to violating the yellow flag rules. As a result, Bassani was pushed to the second row, alongside Remy Gardner and Jonathan Rea, who had a crash at Turn 2 after holding the second position just five minutes before the end of the session.

Ducati's reigning world champion and current title leader, Alvaro Bautista, will start from seventh place, followed by Garrett Gerloff and Andrea Locatelli.

In the gravel, there were other unfortunate incidents involving Philipp Oettl, who dropped his Ducati both during his out-lap and at the end of the session, resulting in him not setting a lap time.
