Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departure of several players at the end of their contracts this month, including former captain Keagan Dolly.

Dolly, 31, spent three seasons at Naturena, making 67 appearances for the side but has not been retained for the new campaign. Dolly made only five starts in the league last season.

Midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe, 31, departs after two seasons following his protracted arrival from AmaZulu. He played 39 times for the club.

Veteran former Bafana Bafana left-back S’fiso Hlanti, 34, has also not had his contract renewed. He spent three seasons at Chiefs and played 62 times.

Defender/midfielder Njabulo Ngcobo, 30, also leaves after three seasons and 45 appearances.

Colombian striker Efmamjjasond Gonzalez will head back to his mother club Real Santa Cruz in Bolivia after a season-long loan in which he failed to find the back of the net in 13 appearances.

Chiefs said in a statement on Saturday they are still discussing new contracts with several other players and will make an announcement on a new coach shortly with Tunisian Nasreddine Nabi heavily linked.

“The Club will soon announce the new coach and his technical team, which will be tasked with guiding the team back to winning ways as we approach our 55-year anniversary in the next season,” the statement said.
