Red Arrows missed the chance to extend their lead at the top of the MTN Super League to four points when they were held to a 0-0 draw by Mufulira Warriors on Saturday.

The point means Arrows are now two ahead of Zesco United, who can move to the summit when they take on defending champions Power Dynamos on Sunday.

Dynamos will also be hopeful of a win that would move them to within three points of Arrows and very much back in the title race.

Nkana FC remain in the relegation zone after they were also held to a draw, finishing 1-1 with Forest Rangers. Tiki Chiluba put the latter in front, but Moussa Lemisa equalised for the home side.

Only two sides were victories in the seven fixtures played on Saturday. Green Buffaloes beat Konkola Blades 4-2 as George Ngoma scored a brace, and FC Muza beat Green Eagles 1-0 after Andrew Phiri’s early winner.

Kabwe Warriors and Prison Leopards, and Zanaco and Napsa Stars, played to goalless draws, while Kansanshi Dynamos and Nkwazi ended 1-1.

Steven Mutama put Nkwazi ahead, but Justin Kangombe earned a point or Dynamos.
