Day 3 of the DStv eKasi champion of champs tournament saw Free Agents and Swidi Wodwa come out victorious, while Black Poison and Phaphama FC shared the spoils.

In Sunday's first game at the KwaMahlobo grounds in Meadowlands zone 10, Soweto, Black Poison were hoping to pick up three points after they narrowly lost 1-0 on the opening day.

The Team from Soweto, however, were on the backfoot as they conceded in the 75th minute and it meant that they had to chase the game against Kwamhlanga side Phaphama FC.

In the end coach Tumelo Mogale's side managed to equalise and walk away with a point.

In the second game of the day, buoyed by a last-gasp winner in their previous encounter, Soweto Super United were brimming with confidence ahead of their clash with Swidi Wodwa from Orange Farm.

Soweto Super United were soon trailing with Swidi taking charge of the game and eventually ended up going down by 2-1 as Swidi picked up their second win of the tournament.

The third and final game of the day saw Free Agents pick up their second win in a row.

The Tshwane side got off to a great start and were 2-0 up at halftime against Ramokokastad FC, who were on the receiving end of a 4-0 drubbing at the end of 90 minutes.

Free Agents have so far scored 10 goals in their three outings, having scored five goals in their previous encounter.

Monday features mouth-watering fixtures as Covid 19 take on Ramatlaohle at 11am.

At 1pm, it is the battle of the Soweto teams as Black Poison square up against Soweto Super United.

In the final game of the day, Swidi Wodwa face Phaphama FC at 3pm.
