DStv Ekasi Champ of Champs reaches semifinal stage

The second phase of the 2024 DStv Ekasi Champ of Champs moves to the Moletsane Sports Complex in Soweto from 17-21 July.

Teams that finished in the top two of their respective groups will compete in the semifinals of the main tournament, with prize money of R250 000 on offer for the winner of the tournament. The teams remaining in contention are Skepe Nketole, the AT Mambas, The Major1 and Newcastle Young Chiefs.

The teams that finished third and fourth will compete for the plate, with prize money of R75 000. This includes the likes of Tricky Boys, Aston Villa, Shaka United and P&S academy.

The plate semifinals this Thursday pit Tricky Boys against Aston Villa at 1pm while P&S Academy take on Shaka United at 3pm.

In Friday's cup semifinals, The Major1 take on Skepe Nketole at 1pm and the AT Mambas lock horns with Newcastle Young Chiefs at 3pm.
