Forest Rangers missed out on the chance to go top of the Zambia Super League when they were held to a 0-0 draw by Lumwana Radiants on Wednesday.

Rangers stay in third, level on 24 points with leaders Zanaco and second-placed Prison Leopards, but with an inferior goal-difference after 14 rounds of the season.

In a game of few chances, the home side had the best of them but could not force the goal that would have given them the three points.

NAPSA Stars’ dismal season continued as they let a lead slip to lose 2-1 at home to Kabwe Warriors and remain in the relegation zone.

Doisy Soko gave Stars the lead after four minutes, but they were pegged back before halftime when Nester Lukupa netted for the visitors.

It looked as though the game would finish 1-1, but when Jimmy Ndhlovu scored two minutes from time, Kabwe grabbed their fourth away win of the season.

Green Eagles ended a run of four straight draws as they claimed a 2-0 win over Red Arrows to move up to ninth in the table.

Gozon Mutale and Anos Tembo scored for Eagles to inflict a third loss in four games on Arrows.

Eagles are six points behind leaders Zanaco, but have two games in hand.
