A 93rd-minute winner from Dennis Nya handed MTN Super League leaders Zesco United a hard-fought 1-0 victory over bottom side Indeni on Sunday as they were made to work for the three points.

It looked as though Indeni would earn just a second point of the season and Zesco would drop two points at home, until Nya netted the late winner to give his side a four-point lead at the top of the table.

Mutondo Stars are a surprise package in second place after they beat Forest Rangers 2-1 to continue their outstanding start to the campaign.

Titus Chansa scored a brace of goals, the second a penalty, for Stars, either side of a strike by Ian Sindaye for Rangers. The latter finished with nine men after a red card for Isaac Muzulu and a second booking for Clement Mulenga.

Atletico Lusaka defeated Green Eagles 1-0 as they moved up to sixth place. Samson Malaya scored the only goal of the game just before halftime.
