Power Dynamos completed a thumping 5-0 victory over Atletico Lusaka on Saturday with a result they hope will kick-start their campaign after a slow start to the MTN Super League season.

Austin Muwowo scored a brace to go with goals from Kondwani Chiboni, Dominic Chanda and John Soko as Dynamos overwhelmed their visitors.

The victory moves them up to fifth in the table, six points behind leaders ZESCO United but having played a game more.

Nkana FC’s poor start to the campaign continued as they lost 2-1 at Green Eagles. Lola Kanda put the home side ahead but Harrison Chisala equalised just before the break to make it 1-1. Simon Mulenga had the final say though as he won it for Eagles.

Green Buffaloes could not close the gap on leaders ZESCO as they lost 1-0 at home to FC MUZA, who have found some form after a difficult start to the campaign. Andrew Phiri got the only goal 14 minutes from the end.

Collins Makungu was the hero for Mufulira Wanderers as he bagged the winner for them on 81 minutes at home to NAPSA Stars, while Jackson Kapamba was a match-winner for Mutondo Stars at bottom side Indeni.

Kabwe Warriors kept up their unbeaten start to the campaign with a 2-0 win at Zanaco, handed to them via second half strikes from Godfrey Binga and Mwamba Mutombo.

Finally, Nchanga Rangers and Nkwazi played to a 1-1 draw. Erick Yema had the latter in front but Mohamed Soumahoro equalised for the home side.
