Zesco United and champions Red Arrows both made it two wins from two after they completed victories in MTN Super League catch-up games played on Thursday.

Arrows defeated previously unbeaten Green Buffaloes 1-0 despite the fact they finished the game with 10 men.

Ricky Banda scored the only goal of the game just before halftime, before the champions had to play the final half-hour with 10 men following a red card for Peter Kalota.

They held on and after a late start to the season due to CAF Champions League duties, have now won both games this campaign without conceding a goal.

The same goes for Zesco, who eased past Napsa Stars 1-0. Edward Lungu scored the only goal of the game on 62 minutes.

They also have two 1-0 wins this campaign after they fired coach George Lwandamina following their early exit from the CAF Confederation Cup at the hands of Zimbabwean side Dynamos last month.

Both Zesco and Arrows are a point behind early-season pacesetters Nchanga Rangers with two games in hand.
