Kabwe Warriors claimed a 2-0 victory over Nchanga Rangers in their MTN Super League clash on Saturday, bringing their opponents back down to earth after a thumping victory on the opening day.

Rangers went into the clash full of confidence following their 3-0 opening day success over FC MUZA, and looked as though they may get another point in this encounter before they conceded twice late on.

The unfortunate Sydney Kasanda put the ball into his own net and that blow was compounded by a second goal from Godfrey Binga with a minute left on the clock.

Warriors had been held to a goalless draw by Green Eagles last weekend, so have four points from two games at the start of the campaign.

Green Eagles also claimed a win when they won 1-0 at Lumwana Radiants with Olivier Fitadi Matondo scoring his first goal for his club early in the second half.

The only other game on Saturday saw FC MUZA play to a goalless draw with 10-man Mufulira Wanderers.
